Luca Marini: »It will be an important match for me. The track is my favorite of the whole calendar and it’s always great to race there. This year then we return a year later and riding the MotoGP. Ducati has always been strong at Mugello, I hope to do well and have fun. It will be a special weekend, I care a lot and I’m preparing at my best. I want to enjoy it from start to finish.«
Avintia Sportdirektor Ruben Xaus: »The race at Mugello has many meanings for rider and team. After 5 races we can say that the real season for us begins here. There is more confidence in riding, more knowledge of the bike and a series of tracks arrive in sequence in which Luca has always lapped strong, even in Moto2. Ducati will then be able to make the most of all the technical characteristics of its engine. The weather will certainly be more stable too and it will therefore be easier to work on a solid base to be able to make a good leap forward in the next races .«
